The Ramble Charitable Fund

How We are Giving Back

Being part of a legacy of giving back is something you become a part of when you become an owner in The Ramble.

The Ramble Charitable Fund was established by Company Farms, LLC to improve quality of life in the South Buncombe County area.

The primary goal of the fund has always been to enhance the local community by supporting education, economic development, health care, the arts & culture, and the environment and quality of life. The fund was initially seeded by Company Farms and a portion of the proceeds of lot and home sales in The Ramble benefit the endowment fund, creating a sizable resource to support charitable projects.

The Ramble Charitable Fund is administered by the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina.

The Ramble Charitable Fund is administered by the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. Twice yearly, grant proposals are reviewed by the charitable fund’s board, which includes Company Farms representatives and South Buncombe residents. Tax-exempt and governmental entities the serve the South Buncombe community but not specifically The Ramble neighborhood, are eligible to apply for the grants. Under special circumstance allocations are also made based on unforeseen community need, such as the COVID-19 crisis.
