A Kids School
Over a century ago, Dr. Maria Montessori developed a new education movement with the purpose of greatly improving the learning process and outcomes for all students.Montessori Academy was founded in 2012, where we follow these core principles of the Montessori philosophy in our daily curriculum to provide distinguished, leading educational opportunities for every child in our school.
The first three years of life are when your child’s brain develops most rapidly; more learning takes place at this stage of development than at any other.Montessori Academy teachers strategically guide children towards developing a love of learning at this early stage of life, allowing for meaningful intellectual growth to continue throughout childhood and beyond.
The children of Montessori Academy are equally nurtured, valued, and respected as individuals each and every day. Our Academy continuously and vigorously prepares children for their future; teaching the life skills necessary for their journey towards complete independence, while encouraging the curiosity which inspires them to flourish each day in all skill areas.

The Montessori method of teaching has continuously been proven in studies to be more effective than other methods of education in developing childrens’ cognitive, emotional, social, and physical skills.Montessori Academy follows the precise philosophy of Montessori education standards to promote practical self-motivated growth for children in every developmental sector.
Our Academy teachers receive specialized training and accreditation, unique to that of traditional educators. Accreditations are issued by the American Montessori Society (AMS), the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), and a limited selection of other official Montessori groups. This specific training produces real, impactful results for our children not matched by traditional systems of education.
Our students grow to become exceptionally confident, enthusiastic, self-directed learners and citizens of our world. They are accountable to themselves and their surrounding community, simultaneously. Children taught with the Montessori method remain steps ahead through learning to think critically, work collaboratively with mixed-age children, and act boldly with outstanding integrity.
Children who learn with the Montessori method take ownership of their early education, influencing a lifetime of learning, decision making, and essential social connection with others. We are inspired each day by the extraordinary growth of the children who enter our Montessori programs, and we invite you and your child to become part of our Montessori family.
Ages 15 months- 2 ½ to 3 years old
In our Montessori environment, your toddler will be with specially trained and accredited teachers who create peaceful, supportive, and safe environments for learning. In these spaces, a child’s natural drive for wonder, curiosity, exploration, and discovery comes alive. The child, through individual choice, makes use of what the environment offers to develop themselves, interacting with the teacher when support and/or guidance is needed.
Ages 2 ½ to 6 years old
This Montessori program encourages young children to be independent, responsible individuals who love learning. The Montessori Method encourages self-directed learning to promote self-confidence, independent thought and action, and critical thinking, all while fostering social-emotional and intellectual growth. Education for peace is a foundational component of Montessori education at all levels.
